Gorgeous views of the mountains. Very handy for Snowdon - had a great day walking withvery reasonable weather. Wonderful days, glorious sunshine- we were out all the time which was good as one of the children is frightened of and allergic to dogs*. Wonderful views. June 2009. Thank you for a splendid week! A very comfortable house, well-equipped, with magnificent views everywhere and a safe garden for the children. The weather got better and better through the week and we walked all six days: from an icy Snowdon's summit on Sunday to sunburn on Thursday descending Rhyd Ddu. Absolutely fabulous cottage and heavenly views. Paul and Christine's welcome was much appreciated. Welsh cakes were gorgeous. Flowers were lovely too as it was Mother's Day weekend. Fantastic accommodation, incredible views, great location – what more can I say? Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and proactive. Giving us batteries for the kids’ toys and cutting the grass in the wet are the little things that make Trosgol above the rest. Good facilities for the children. Second visit, as good as the first – see 3/8/07. We found new, better walks, and new things to do including the Welsh Highland Railway, boat trip from Caernarfon, and the kids’ adventure park near Bangor. We had a wonderful time, the views spectacular – loads to do. We enjoyed Red Wharf Bay with the dogs, Beddgelert, Benllech, Foel Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo, swimming in Caernarfon. Wonderful cottage, best welcome we’ve ever had. The area is fantastic and the views from a bedroom were breathtaking. Fantastic accommodation, incredible views, great location – what more can I say? Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and proactive. Giving us batteries for the kids’ toys and cutting the grass in the wet are the little things that make Trosgol above the rest. Good facilities for the children. Loved the house, two bedrooms upstairs like hotel rooms. Relaxed time, children relaxed and unstressed. You already feel you’re somewhere without even going out. Paul & Christine warm-hearted and generous couple.

We found new, better walks, and new things to do including the Welsh Highland Railway, boat trip from Caernarfon, and the kids’ adventure park near Bangor. We had a wonderful time, the views spectacular – loads to do. We enjoyed Red Wharf Bay with the dogs, Beddgelert, Benllech, Foel Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo, swimming in Caernarfon. Wonderful cottage, best welcome we’ve ever had. The area is fantastic and the views from a bedroom were breathtaking. The kids and the dogs love the cottage and garden as there was plenty of room to run round and play. Weather was far better than expected would definitely recommend Caernarfon Castle.
