We have had a lovely holiday in Trosgol Fawr and Snowdonia. There is so much to do here, we will have to return. This week we have ticked off great walks from doing all week to the Slate Museum, the Slate Museum itself, Pet’s eats. Penrhyn Castle, Dinas Dinlle beach, the Caban cafe, Betws y Coed and Parc Glynllifon and the Glyntwrog! We would recommend all of them. Tomorrow we hope to climb Snowdon before heading home wish we could stay another week. October 2011, family, York
Another delightful fortnight at Trosgol. Thanks for the welcome, Christine and Paul, and for providing everything one could possibly need (except the weather!). Despite grey skies, we enjoyed walking with the dogs, taking in the delightful scenery. And on the doorstep walk offering extensive use is up to the Marchlyn reservoir. For excellent yet reasonably priced food, try the Vaynol Arms in Pentir. September 2011, family, Clacton.
A lovely house and a super welcome. Paul and Christine a super hosts and their recommendations were spot-on ... eating houses, ice creams walks etc. The weather was, on the whole fantastic only one day of non-stop rain. We came for a charity walk up Snowdon to raise money for Ogwen Mountain rescue in memory of a relative. What weather we have had, and imaginable wind and rain! But a
comfortable cottage to return to with good drying facilities a pity we could not use the lovely garden or fully appreciate the lovely views of the cottage

We have had a fantastic Easter break and be treated to a basic weather all week. Unfortunately our friend's baby was ill which did not stop us, however, and we have had
some great trips out. Climbed five of the 3000 feet peaks. The garden was wonderful and we have enjoyed sitting out with out now: baby. Cheers! I strongly recommend a walk around

equipped accommodation, Paul and Christine friendly, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We achieved our climb up Snowdon on the Llanberis path and would love to
return and try the other routes up Snowdon. Also visited Betws y Coed.. The scenery is stunning from the cottage and we hope to return again in the future.

put in front of! Luckily we found a great cafe at the bottom of the Llanberis pass.

It is always a delight to holiday in Snowdonia -- the icing on the cake has been our accommodation. To arrive in the dark with it raining hard and wake up with views of the "Electric Mountain" and the summit of Snowdon visible, and beckoning, is very special. Would anybody notice if we stay?!! Fantastic 10 days and not a drop of rain in sight. Nice restful and relax on holiday and a large part of that is due to this accommodation and surroundings. Our son is in a wheelchair a lot of the time when my out bandits amazing the number of places that are accessible. Lake padarn railway was especially helpful.. Fantastic accommodation, incredible views, great location – what more can I say? Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and proactive. Giving us batteries for the kids’ toys and cutting the grass in the wet are the little things that make Trosgol above the rest. Good facilities for the children. We found new, better walks, and new things to do including the Welsh Highland Railway, boat trip from Caernarfon, and the kids’ adventure park near Bangor. We had a wonderful time, the views spectacular – loads to do. We enjoyed Red Wharf Bay with the dogs, Beddgelert, Benllech, Foel Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo, swimming in Caernarfon. We have had a lovely holiday in Trosgol Fawr and Snowdonia. There is so much to do here, we will have to return. This week we have ticked off great walks from doing all week to the Slate Museum, the Slate Museum itself, Pet’s eats. Penrhyn Castle, Dinas Dinlle beach, the Caban cafe, Betws y Coed and Parc Glynllifon and the Glyntwrog! We would recommend all of them. Tomorrow we hope to climb Snowdon before heading home wish we could stay another week. October 2011, family, York
Another delightful fortnight at Trosgol. Thanks for the welcome, Christine and Paul, and for providing everything one could possibly need (except the weather!). Despite grey skies, we enjoyed walking with the dogs, taking in the delightful scenery. And on the doorstep walk offering extensive use is up to the Marchlyn reservoir. We came for a charity walk up Snowdon to raise money for Ogwen Mountain rescue in memory of a relative. What weather we have had, and imaginable wind and rain! We have had a fantastic Easter break and be treated to a basic weather all week. Unfortunately our friend's baby was ill which did not stop us, however, and we have had some great trips out. Climbed five of the 3000 feet peaks. The garden was wonderful and we have enjoyed sitting out with out now: baby. Cheers! Only here for a weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary and both in our 50th year ticking off things to achieve on our bucket list. Clean comfortable and well equipped accommodation, Paul and Christine friendly, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We achieved our climb up Snowdon on the Llanberis path and would love to return and try the other routes up Snowdon. Also visited Betws y Coed.. Would anybody notice if we stay?!! Fantastic 10 days and not a drop of rain in sight. Nice restful and relax on holiday and a large part of that is due to this accommodation and surroundings. Our son is in a wheelchair a lot of the time when my out bandits amazing the number of places that are accessible. Lake padarn railway was especially helpful.. Wonderful cottage, best welcome we’ve ever had. The area is fantastic and the views from a bedroom were breathtaking. The kids and the dogs love the cottage and garden as there was plenty of room to run round and play. Weather was far better than expected would definitely recommend Caernarfon Castle.

Very welcoming hosts that have helped us find activities outside and a fully equipped home to enjoy in the evening. The weather report helped us immensely. We’ve enjoyed Caernarfon Castle and the surroundings. So much to see and do we didn’t fit it all in.

Beautiful cottage, very family-friendly, boys loved the bunk beds and we all slept well. Great meeting place for us lots to see and do and the week was really not enough time. The cottage, garden, scenery and very helpful, hospitable owners will entice us to return for a longer and more enjoyable holiday.
